About Mamata Zone

Mamata Reading Zone is a safe place for children in the community where children and everyone who are interested can come and use books to read. It is a community library where we not only provide books but also facilitate them who need support with homework and other learning difficulties like reading and math. Children are guided and trained to read accurately and fluently. Our librarian and volunteers help them reading Nepali and English books as they are well trained teachers using phonics teaching skills and hands on practice. MRZ is determined to provide quality and child friendly environment to welcome children and spend their time on good books, play skillful games that help them to develop holistically.

We provide counseling who need emotional support. By observing the need of society, we provide counseling trainings on important skills of active listening to all the parents, leaders and teachers and those who are directly involved with children.
