Nepal has a long way to go to be able to offer world class education. Its current standards are low and Government schools lack funds and resources to provide children with a high level of education. Very few libraries exist in Nepal. There is a great need for libraries in Nepal. Children don’t have the chance to read other books outside their own school books and there is no place to play games, engage in activities such as story telling at all.

Therefore with the goal of reaching thousands of children, MRZ has been established to provide an opportunity for children to read a variety of books such as stories, science, mystery, art and history as well as other genres of books. We want to give to our Nepali children the opportunity to read books and play games where they might not be otherwise able to purchase them. Our dream is to see our children and parents bonding through the activities in the library. We target and aims to develop children’s reading skills in the further. We provide skill trainings like first aid, self defence courses as well as counselling training and language training. We would like to provide counselling services to those are very much in need.
